Timeline

"Indigenous Peoples have always claimed to have inhabited America since ancient times. This reference to the distant past is expressed through tales of the creation of the world which have always linked them to this continent. There are assumptions among scientists that Indigenous groups began populating South America even earlier than 40,000 years ago. From Beringia, they are said to have travelled down the Pacific coast. But what about Canada and more specifically, the territory we call the province of Québec?"
