Write (on the board, on a cardboard, etc.) the following statements :


a) Girls are better in languages than boys.
b) Seniors are not able to use a cell phone.
c) Tall people run faster.
d) Boys love science more than girls.

Ask participants what they think of these statements. they think of these statements.

Now individuellement, individually or in a team of 2 or 3 people, ask students to answer the following questions::

a) What is a stereotype?
b) What is a prejudice?

You may discuss together and share definitions. Write on the board or on a card the key elements of their answers. Next, refer to the glossary to record the definitions and make connections with the key elements. mentioned by participants.
